Patient Self Testing

 Regular testing of the prothrombin time (PT) and the international normalized ratio (INR) is required for patients on oral anticoagulant therapy (OAT) to monitor their blood coagulation level and avoid issues from either over or under coagulation. A healthcare practitioner or the patient can test the PT/INR. Patient self-testing, often known as home testing, is the latter kind of testing. The goal of this study was to learn about patients' opinions and experiences with PT/INR self-testing with portable coagulometer devices. We provide you with training about how you can take your blood test at home , and we also provide you with the equipment with which you can take the blood test or many other tests related to your health.
